and Torre del Oro - the 12 sided Tower of Gold.
For an exceptional week visit during Easter - with its religious
processions; or the all encompassing Feria de Seville (Feria de
Abril) - which is a life changing experience, which lasts a week,
and full
of flamenco and other dancing, guitar music, horse carriage parades
often numbering more than 300 carriages, and 3000 horses; casetas;
fireworks;
fairground
attractions, Spanish cuisine, and much much more!
Airports: Seville Airport is 20 minutes drive. Air companies include

ABOUT ACCOMMODATION
The Sevilla studio apartment, is in the center of Seville, near Casa de Pilatos, and is about 1km from the railway station and 20 minutes drive from the Seville Airport.
The apartment is located on the ground floor in a beautiful complex, surrounding a central courtyard, with exotic flowers, and trees. Parking is about 100 metres away from the front door of the studio.
Crossing the plaza of the complex, one enters the studio via a patio terrace, where you can sit outside, and enjoy a glass of wine, or a cup of coffee, or just take in the atmosphere.
The Seville studio rental has been recently renovated and decorated to a high standard. One enters into a large 25m2 living area with double sofa bed, couches, chairs, and single bed suitable for a child or young adult. There is a TV and a CD radio player.
There is a small kitchen, with hot plates for cooking, a refrigerator, a sink, and a washing machine. There is no oven or microwave, and you will have to do what the locals do - go out and enjoy "tapas" everyday.
There is a bathroom, with bath with shower attachment, washbasin, and WC.

Seville is a place to explore on foot - the traffic is notorious in Seville and it is easy to get lost driving in the many small streets. Take care with valuables as in most major main cities in Europe.
What's more to see? - the gardens in the royal palace Alcazar; the Archivo General de Indias, with its millions of archive documents, a fine building dating back to 16th Century, that is next to the Cathedral (built on the site of a Mosque), that claims to contain the remains of Columbo, the explorer - then climb the La Giralda (at one time a Minaret) with its stunning view of Seville. Visit the colorful Barrio de Santa Cruz - one time a ghetto for Spanish jews - a Medieval labyrinth of terraces, squares, fountains, flowers, and narrow streets.
Seville is well known for its variety of entertainments. Here you can enjoy at many venues the full flame of flamenco; and the vibrant dance the Sevillanas. A good guide to what's on in Seville is El Giraldillo - take a look for discotheques, clubs, concerts, opera, etc! If you want to experience Bull fighting visit the Maestranza Building - the most famous arena in Spain - the season is April to October.
Make a note to visit during April for the April Fair the most famous feria in Spain - where you will be feasted with flamenco, folklore, all night dancing in the streets and bullfights. During Easter week - watch hooded penitents, religious floats, in astounding parades. In September come to visit either the Bienal de Flamenco, or the Bienal de Arte Contemporaneo.
