Dorade was freshly cooked - delicious!

O Soleil Restaurant and Bar at the port in Marseillan, Herault,
Languedoc - near Sete, Cap d'Agde, and Pezenas
i was pleasantly surprised at O Soleil Restaurant - i arrived late - around
1.30 pm, and service was courteous, and quick to my attentions. Although
they had a 15 euro lunch menu, I opted for the one at 19.90 euros so i
could enjoy a broad range of fish for starter and main course. I had moule
gratinée first, plump, and cooked tender - although i thought 6 not really
enough. The Dorade which was perfect - colorfully presented, cooked to
bring out the delicacy of the fish, everything was just how i wanted it
on the plate. Dessert was a simpler selection - but still delicious where
extra care had occured. I was particularly taken by their ice cold white
wine from a carafe. It was refreshing and a delight. Coffee rounded off
the meal, and then i found myself enjoying the color and interest of Marseillan
port, with its boats dancing on the water, intermitently mixed with locals
and tourists bringing their own elements of visual wit.
