Le Guide Photo of the Week - September 7 1998
Thistles, Languedoc The french countryside is full of glamorous wildflowers, that sparkle all year round. These, what I call thistles, that no doubt someone will tell me their proper name, are often on the sides of vineyards or up in the brush in the hills. Walking here is not just glorious landscapes, but the wonderment of nature, of flowers, of rabbits, of eagles, of rocks and stones - there is always something vital and vibrant.
