drive in the Midi Pyrenees from Gers, to Ariege
The Midi Pyrenees south of Toulouse
and Agen is a lovely area to discover. In a cross country
drive - the village
of Fourcés, with its chateau, and arcades, near Montreal
and Condom; - the castellated village of Larressingle
with a medieval playground; - the Abbey of Flaran - with
magnificent
impressionist and art exhibition; - the cathedral at Lombez,
with tower and lovely carvings in the choir; - and finally
the Church cut into the rock at Vals, near Pamiers.
