Take a visit from Narbonne, or Carcassonne, via Lezignan into the beautiful hills and valleys of the Corbieres, in the Aude. Visit its jewel - Lagrasse - a beautiful village with a number of shops, artist studios, medieval streets, with a lovely 13th century humpback bridge, and a large Abbey that hosts a book show during the Summer months as well as a number of concerts. I had a lovely meal at the local restaurant - Les Trois Graces. Its a ideal place to begin to explore the glories of the Corbieres which include the magnificent castles of the Cathars - Queribus, Termes, Peyrepertuse, to mention a few.
