The Mediterranean beaches from Cap d'Agde to Sete are 20 minutes away, where one can dine on oysters plucked nearby.
DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION 28 rue Joseph Cambon is a classic French “maison village” in the heart of Pezenas. There is no building directly across the narrow street. The house has southeasterly views into a sunny courtyard and beyond to the clay rooftops of the surrounding buildings. The tourist bureau refers to this area as the "modern" part of Pezenas being those homes built in the 17th and 18th centuries! There is a laundry room, with washing machine, dryer and sink on the entry level.  A spiral staircase leads up to the next three levels which all enjoy views and sunshine. The second level, premiere etage, is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with WC, shower, and basin. The third level, deuxieme etage, has the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen, newly installed in November 2006 has a fridge and electric oven with halogen hob, microwave, and is well equipped for up to six people. The dining room has a table with six chairs and can be expanded with the additional leaves. The lounge area has four comfortable armchairs and huge French windows that look to the view. There is a CD and tape player. Kitchen The fourth level, troisieme etage, is also a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (shower, WC, basin). There is a skylight and from the window at this level there is a wonderful view. The bed here can be separated to two single beds or left as a king sized bed. Bedroom Pezenas House is short walk from galleries, shops Market	PEZENAS Pezenas is a historic town with a population of about 8000. It is in the heart of the Languedoc region of the South of France a vast winemaking area. The town has several bakeries and shops within easy walking distance of the house fresh breads, fruit and vegetables are right at hand. There is a well stocked Champion grocery for larger shopping expeditions. The Saturday market is nothing short of fabulous and a must for anyone who loves Mediterranean food. It’s less than a block from our house. On Sundays many of the fine large homes, "hotels", open their doors for the tourists. Self guiding maps are available at the local tourist bureau. The oldest part of town has explanatory signs in several languages to direct tourists. Pezenas has an internet cafe on rue Conti. There are numerous restaurants and bars for dining SURROUNDING AREA The region provides everything for the holiday maker. Nearby are Beziers, Montpellier, Agde, Sete, the Canal du Midi plus miles of Mediterranean beaches. A little further afield are Nimes, Avignon, the famous Pont du Gard, Carcassone and many smaller historical areas such Saint-Guilem-le-Desert, Cirque Navacelles and the Cathar regions including Minerve. Close to the sand and sea are the Camargue and its 100,000 flamingos. A day trip to the Roquefort cheese makers is interesting and no holiday would be complete without trying the regional wines. St Chinian and Faugeres are two of the regions most recognized terroir.

If there is a cancellation and we are able to rent the space all monies will be refunded. Fees for initial greeting and orientation, cleaning and laundry are included, there are no extra charges for linens, cleaning electricity or water. The deposit will be credited to the rental cost. Payment can be made in any currency to result in a rate close to the Euro fees noted below.
