Terrace DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION  This 18th century village winery was converted into a spacious, two-storey, four bedroom village house with high ceilings and original exposed beams. It is conceived as a large open space with fully equipped kitchen, dining room with tiled flooring overlooking the sunken living room and the pool to the outside. There is an additional seating area on the mezzanine, which also has a TV monitor and a small selection of videos and a book library. Three bedrooms overlook the swimming pool and the fourth has a view of the village. There are three shower rooms and one bathroom with a separate shower stall. The bedrooms with the American king size bed and the American queen size bed have ensuite  shower rooms, and the other two bedrooms have a bathroom adjacent to them. There is also a west facing terrace, a great spot for cocktails at sunset. The private pool, open from mid May until mid September, is bordered by a path that leads through an archway into the walled garden with fruit trees and herbs. Bedroom Bathroom Mezzanine Oupia - location of La Serre Aux Vignes	OUPIA Oupia is a quiet friendly village surrounded by vineyards, with views north to the Black Mountains ans south to the Pyrenees. It is home of the world class Chateau Oupia wine. There is a village shop, with fresh bread daily a post office and a restaurant. Another restaurant can be found in the village of Beaufort, an easy 15mins walk from Oupia. SURROUNDING AREA The busy market town of Olonzac is 3kms away, and has a supermarket, bank with ATM, several cafes, bars, restaurants, bakeries, newsagent,pharmacies, beauty parlors and many more. It is host to a weekly outdoor market every Tuesday morning. It also boasts a lovely botanical garden and tennis courts. Lac Jouarres is just 2kms beyond Olonzac, and is a popular destination for windsurfers. Bikes and pedaloes can also be rented at this location. The Canal du Midi has a port at Homps and  is 5kms from Oupia. Boats can be rented by the day or there is a very nice 2hr boat trip on the canal. The famous medieval city of Carcassonne can be reached in 40 mins, and has a outdoor market on Saturday mornings in the main town. ACCESS International airports are within easy driving distance - Beziers (45 mins), Carcassonne (45 mins), Perpignan (60 mins), Montpellier (1h25), Toulouse (1h30), Nimes (1h45), Barcelona (3h). There are railway stations at Narbonne (25 mins), and Beziers (45 mins) with TGV connections to Paris.
