DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION
The gite is well equipped, where the living room has seating for 5, TV, DVD player, radio with CD player, books.
The kitchen has a dining area with seating for 4, equipped with cooking range, microwave/oven, fridge, iron and board, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, etc.
Stairs lead up to two bedrooms each with 2 single comfortable beds and one bathroom with shower and WC.
General: we have room heaters, bed clothes, baby bed, baby-chair and push cart.
Outdoors you will find one terrace on the ground level with garden furniture and barbeque, as well as another terrace at the first floor.

CAUNES MINERVOS
Caunes-Minervois is a little village situated at the foot of the Black Mountains, in the environment of Carcassonne and Narbonne. This peaceful village has a 12th Century Abbey and a number of Gothic and Renaissance buildings. It has two restaurants, a couple of cafes and shops. Three times a week there is a village market for regional delicacies.
SURROUNDING AREA
You can wander in the Black Mountains, which stand up clear behind the Village or walk the vineyards that stretch beyond Caunes as far as the Pyrenees. Spain is an hour and a half away, Toulouse an hour, and Albi is 2 hours away, over the mountain.

Nearest Airports: Beziers (70 mins), Carcassonne (20 mins), Perpignan (75 mins), Montpellier (90 mins), Toulouse (80 mins), Barcelona/Gerona (2h 15 mins)
There is a railway station at Carcassonne, with TGV connections to Paris.
