Chateau Bel Air, provides a lovely Languedoc setting for a holiday rental that is part of the Chateau, with its own independant entrance, with large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a completly modern kitchen, and dining area. There is a swimming pool, with lots of outside dining area under the shade of ancient trees. The Chateau is surrounded with vineyards, and has views across the Etang de Thau to Sete.
ACCESS
International airports are within easy driving distance - Montpellier (25 mins), Carcassonne (90 mins), Toulouse (2 and half hours) and Barcelona (3.5 hours). There are railway stations at Beziers (30 mins), Narbonne (40 mins), Agde (15 mins), Montpellier (25 mins) with TGV connections to Paris.

The Chateau Belair is on a small hill that overlooks the Etang de Thau - an inland sea renowned for shell fishing - particularly oysters and mussels; with views as far as Sète. The house is surrounded by vineyards boasting the fine white wine Picpoul de Pinet - an excellent wine to accompany dining over the Summer months.

This newly renovated and modernized rental is part of the Chateau surrounded by trees, with garden and has use of a large swimming pool with glorious views.
Entry is into a large dining room living area with satellite TV, with DVD, CD radio audio system. There is a dining table that seats 6, as well as couch and easy chairs. Complementing this is an American style kitchen area with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, as well as 4 ring stove top and oven.
Stairs go up to a hallway leading to one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with WC, shower, and wash basin, and 2 other bedrooms one with a double bed, and the other with 2 single beds. There is also a bathroom, with bath, shower, washbasin and WC.
Dine out under the shade of mature trees
Close to the entrance, under the mature trees of the Chateau you can dine outside at a dining table to seat 6. Close to the Chateau is a large swimming pool, that is well furnished with pool furniture. Views from the pool is across the Etang de Thau - towards the Mediterranean sea and Sete.

ABOUT SURROUNDING AREA
Domaine de Bel Air, is 5 minutes away from the charming fishing villages of Mèze and Marseillan. Mèze, has many fine restaurants around the picturesque quays filled with fishing boats, and Marseillan, also boast fine restaurants, as well as guided tours and degustation at Noilly Prat which is produced there. In 20 minutes you can be bathing on the Mediterranean on one of the many sandy beaches stretching from Cap d'Agde to Sète. For those that want cosmopolitan excitement - Montpellier boasts fine art galleries, concerts, theaters, restaurants, with a youthful vigour helped by a large university and some spectacular modern architecture.
The area is rich in things to see and do, - Pezenas, with antique shops and market, Beziers with bullfighting in August, St Guilhem-le-Desert in the hills with Medieval style streets, artists selling their works, an abbey church (where part of its cloister was exported to New York), as well as further up the coast the Camargue, and of course more endless beaches!
